The Puncherdome
The Clinton R. Schultze Puncher Stadium, or Puncherdome, is an iconic and historic place in Mason, Texas. Built in the 1930s, it has a unique overhang on the stadium's home side. It protects our fans and also amplifies our cheers for the Punchers. It has historically been a horse racing track and a rodeo arena. In the late 30s, the football team started playing at the stadium, and eventually, it was given the nickname the “Puncherdome.” It can hold around 2,000 fans, close to how many our small town holds!
Our school is regularly recognized as the ‘most unique stadium’ and ‘most unique mascot’.
Go Punchers and Cowgirls!
